Lie sketches, in various states of completion. They're none of them that spectacular, though one looks enough like the Swanhelm to be recognized, and another must be of a man, though it's unsure which man. There are sunsets, done in color ink, which Zaira seems to have had an easier time with. The man's face is seen a few more times, on various pages, and a few of the sketches have been crossed out or angrily scribbled over.

So used to writing every day that I've been going fecking insane not being able to do so. Someone finally got me a journal that is NOT a captain's log for me to start writing in, but then I have to teach meself how to write all over again.
It ain't an easy task. You never realise how badly you NEED that fourth finger until it's missing. Though the fake-finger-glove has helped.
Finally have writing that's at least good enough to be read again, though I'm thinking I own't ever be able to draw again like I used to, and that pisses me off.
If Zimraphel wasn't already dead, I swear on Ecthy's grave I'd kill her.
Speaking of Ecthy, still been seeing him around. Mostly in my dreams, but sometimes in bits of still water, or mirrors, glass... my ceiling, few times. Have a few things I take that the healers don't right know about, but I like to see him. Makes me feel a bit warm inside, like I might actually be living again.
There's some lady what's named Minulzir, who's been trying to get me to stop looking for him. She gave me the gloves, too.... kissed me, the other day. Still trying to figure out what the feck that was about.
Feel a bit confused, right now. Gran'da's got the ship, and the business. Amrothos swears there's still work for me, but I won't sail and I won't have people working under me. Not anymore. Still havn't had to talk to Imrahil about all this, at least. I'd rather not.
Winter's near over, and then I'll be going south. Got a beach I want to find there...
